Mario Kart Open World 2D

Have you ever want to play Mario Kart in 2D and in an open-world ? 

This Game is my entry for: 
The 9th Game Jam organised by the French Website GameCodeur.fr

The subject:
Make a demake of a famous game

Technologies Used:
Photoshop / Tiled (Map Editor)
Monogame / C# / Visual Studio

The Game Concept:

Even if I kept some "racing" graphic elements, I got ride of the race. It's in an open-world within you'll drive where you want. I wanted something like GTA1 with the camera in the sky. There are two game modes: 

- Arena Mode (Kill all the enemies to win)
- Object Collection Mode (Collect all the objects before to run out of time)

I made the entire code, the concept and the graphic design of the Karts. The other graphic elements where found online and modified or create from scratch as well.
The sounds were found on: freesounds.org

Même si j'ai conservé des éléments graphiques de course, j'ai supprimé ce mode. C'est un open-world dans lequel vous pourrez conduire ou bon vous semble. Quelque chose comme GTA1 avec la vue d'en haut. Il y a 2 modes de jeu:

- Arena Mode (tue tous les ennemies pour gagner)
- Object Collection Mode (collectionne tous les objets avant la fin du temps impartis)

J'ai entièrement réalisé le code et les graphismes des karts. Les autres éléments graphiques ont été trouvés en ligne et modifiés ou créer au besoin. Les sons ont été trouvés sur le site : freesounds.org
